The Muskoka Rails
Museum is located at
14 Gray Rd. in the
Maple Orchard Farms
building in
Bracebridge. The
museum provides a
small glimpse of how
the railways helped in
the settlement and economic development of the District of
Muskoka and particularly the Town of Bracebridge. The
museum has a number of interesting maps, old photographs
and models of railways in Muskoka. The museum also has on
display many railway artifacts and pieces of equipment inside
and outside the building. Souvenirs of the Museum and of
railways are on sale at the museum.
Mon. to Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m, year round and open Sunday's in
the summer 12 - 5 p.m.
