MUSKOKA LAKES MUSEUM
Admission
$2 per person. Children 5 and under are FREE.
The Muskoka Lakes
Museum’s many permanent
and seasonal exhibits,
programs and special events
display the area’s native
presence, the pioneers’
labours, the early tourism
industry, the region’s proud
boat-building heritage and
early cottaging endeavours. A
visit through the museum’s various galleries brings this
fascinating history to life. Children’s activities are available at
any time; the museum’s own Catto art gallery has a new show
each month; the herb garden is always available for a visit;
walking tours run every Thursday at 1:30 p.m., in July and
August; and the museum’s gift shop offers Muskoka books and
unique, quality souvenirs and giftware.
