Freiherr von Schleinitz estate is recognised as one of the top estates in the Mosel region and under the control of Konrad Hähn.
The high quality of the wines is continuously confirmed by awards and medals received in regional and national as well as
international competitions.
Low yields and the use of cultivated yeasts result in well crafted wines which aremade in stainless steel in a modern facility.
One can taste the result of professional care and vast experience in these full, nicely balanced Riesling wines with mineraly
components in the bouquet and vibrant, but fine acidity in the body.
The Hähn family has been in the wine business since 1650. In this most northern part, the Mosel Valley is very narrow and the
vineyards very steep. The warm microclimate and the use of terraces along the south facing slopes allows the vines to grow to
full ripeness.

A beautifully crafted pale rose made from 100% pinot Noir. This wine is stunning value with elegant fruit, delicate salmon pink colour and
a rich ripe berry finish. The winemaker Konrad Hahn has purposely kept the colour light as the skins were taken away from the juice early
to ensure that the tannin balance in the wine was not overpowering.
