A Local Council in Partnership with
Local Sports Councils to Promote Bowls
South Lanarkshire Leisure, in Partnership with the Sports Councils of Clydesdale,
Cambuslang, Rutherglen, East Kilbride and Hamilton, in addition to South
Lanarkshire Disability Sport, organise a wide variety of bowling initiatives during the
outdoor bowling season. Included in the programme are District Championships,
50+ events, Champion of Champions and Junior Tournaments.

Bowls for People with a Disability
Also included in the programme, in Partnership with South Lanarkshire Leisure
Disability Sport, are regular activities each week for wheelchair users, blind and
partially sighted and bowlers with a learning or mental health disability.
