Swimmers Set

ast fall, MAC’s swim team kicked off
the short-course season with a strong
start. The team also finished strong during
the championships to mark the end of
the first half of the swimming year and a
tremendous beginning of the long-course
season.
The season began with a goal of 300
best times for the entire team during the
short course (September through March).
This goal was surpassed by mid-November.
By early March, 797 goals had been
achieved, with more meets still coming.
The season ended with a flurry of meets
on consecutive weekends, finishing the last
weekend in March at age group sectionals.
The team had a grand total of 954 best
times for all squads: seniors, pre-senior,
age group I, age group II and develop-
