Feather River College offers a variety of scholarships for entering, continuing, and transferring students.
Scholarship opportunities and eligibility criteria continue to change. Applications and additional information
is available in the FRC Financial Aid office or on the FRC Financial Aid web site at
www.frc.edu.
FRC Foundation Scholarships
A $1000 two year scholarship, payable each semester in the amount of $250, eligible to any current FRC
students or high school graduate planning to attend FRC. Student must be enrolled in 12 units each
semester. In order to renew the scholarship for the second year, the student must have completed 24 units
with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Faculty, Staff, and Program Scholarships
The Central California Inland Fisheries Kokanee & Salmon Foundation, Inc., also known as
Kokanee Power, provides $2500 for student scholarships. At the beginning of each semester, Feather
River College students are encouraged to apply for the Phil Johnson Memorial Scholarship, and/or the Bob
Roberts memorial scholarship. These scholarships are provided up to $1000 depending on the number of
applicants. Though priority is given to environmental studies students participating in the hatchery and
fisheries courses, any student can apply by contacting Zachary Parks at (530) 283-0202, ext. 224.
The Academic Senate provides two $250 scholarships; a returning student who has completed 20 units
or more and a student transferring to a four year college. Students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. For

The California State Employees Association #712 (CSEA) provides a $500 scholarship. This scholarship
is available to a recent high school graduate or a continuing FRC student. Students must have a cumulative
GPA of a 2.5 and be able to demonstrate community and/or school involvement. Contact Diann Jewett at

The Classified Senate provides $100-$600 book scholarships to students who have previously
completed 12 credits at FRC. Students must be enrolled full time and have a GPA of 3.0 or better. Scholarships
are intended for continuing FRC students. Contact Dottie Arcangeli at (530) 283-0202, ext. 236
Cooperative Work Experience Education Scholarship (CWEE) provides a $150 scholarship for
returning students. Students must be enrolled full time, with a GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated consistent
achievement and excellence in community service. Contact George McNulty at (530) 283-0202, ext. 237 for
additional information. Applications are available for downloading from the FRC website, or you may pick
up an application in the Student Service Center at the Financial Aid desk.
Faculty Union provides two $300 scholarships for currently enrolled students. Applicants must be enrolled
full time and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Contact Crystal Williams at (530) 283-0202, ext. 312 for additional
information.
