Being an expensive MOP
(Expensive Member of
Parliament)
Being an MP is expensive you see
I need money for my coffee and tea.
Sometimes you forget what money you get
and get mixed up with your cash in the net!
I claim for my spouse I claim for my scouse
I claim for my car even my wifeʼs bra!
Sometimes I forget, what I have claimed for
The other day I had the police knock at my door
Gordon has asked us to pay it all back
where will I get hold of dosh like that?
I know what Iʼll do Iʼll claim for my fl u
and claim for the swine who has it too.
I need more money for my second house by the sea
and an expensive MOP to clean it you see.
And not to forget all the taxis I get
and the beer I have bought for the people Iʼve met.
My Friend Michael Martin left the taxpayers seething
now he has found out that the ʻHouseʼ heʼll be leaving!
So Gordon my mate itʼs far too late
time to leave Number 10 letʼs go line up by the gate.

Dear All
As they say we have good and bad news.
First of all I am sorry it has taken me so long to inform our friends, although we
did get Hyde Park for the TDY event, unfortunately with this yearʼs economic
downturn we were unable to secure a sponsor for the show and we are unable to
go ahead.
The good news is on 5th December 2009 at The Holiday Inn Kensington Forum
we still intend to hold our annual dinner dance, so we can give a donation to the
charities that have supported us. The reason we have moved to this hotel is we
do not want to turn people away like the sell out we had last year.
We have been able to hold the price @ £60 per head and we will still have the 4
course meal.
So donʼt be the one that misses a great night. For any information on the dinner
please phone any of the above numbers.
Yours truly, Russell Poluck MBE
Hon chairman
