was still no closer to fi nding my lucky cabbie.
I headed for the station with my £1000 tip still
burning a hole in my pocket. Then I spotted
something. Orange trilby, blonde hair, fi stful of
cash...this was it...Iʼd found my sticker!
My winner was a very friendly man called
Siban Karateke. Itʼs fair to say he was
absolutely delighted.
“I am over the moon and surprised” he said,
as I handed him the £1000 cheque, “but itʼs
funny, I had a feeling I would be lucky when I
put the sticker on my cab this morning!”
So yet another cabbie is £1000 richer in 2009 -
