The new 1400INi Series Inverted Microscopes from VanGuard
provide stunningly vivid optics for advanced tissue culture work.
Right out of the box, each model is a full, turn-key system with
precision-drive mechanical stages and focusing controls; inserts for
multi-well plates, Terasaki plates, glass slides, 65/54/35 round dishes;
and UWF 10X eyepieces, camera ports, and 30W halogen illumination.
The focusing controls are positioned for easy, comfortable viewing
while sitting or standing. 5 year warranty.

Fluorescence Upgrade
Package for 1400INi Series
This affordable fl uorescence upgrade package enables life scientists to
observe fl uorescent proteins in cultures, often used to track and tag
biomolecules. The upgrade package includes two broadband fi lters:
the green broadband fi lter (Excitation 480-550nm, Emission 590+ nm)
is intended for dyes Ethidium Bromide, Propidium Iodide, & TRITC;
the blue broadband fi lter (Excitation 430-490nm, Emission 520+nm)
is intended for FITC, Acridine Orange, & Auramine. The illumination
is 100 W HBO Mercury with 8.0A 250V Slow Blow Fuses (2 ea.).
The package includes broadband fi lters, external power supply, lamp
housing, lamp, two spare fuses, & the operation manual. The blue
broadband fi lter can be used to view Green Fluorescent Protein.
For enhanced imaging, fl uorescence fi lter 1490-FUV001 provides
high registration of GFP with higher signal-to-noise; fi ts 1490-FLP01
fl uorescence package.
