Garden glories
Other attractions include Chelsea gold medalists Roualyn Fuchsias
and Dibleys Nurseries who will be staging displays, the fine art and
sculpture exhibition, a new craft tent for 2009 and an exciting
Wildlife and Environment village. Not forgetting a superb food tent!
You can also shop till you drop, with a wide range of exhibitors
selling everything from hot tubs to garden tools. What’s more,
there’ll be some of the finest nurseries on hand to offer advice.
And from the world of garden design there’ll be the innovative
Emily Reddy of Reddy Landscapes.
Budding gardeners are also being
encouraged and more than 30 schools
have entered a planting competition.
Visitors can also expect cookery

Culinary Team, Graham also starred in
ITV’s hit programme Taste The Nation
and he’ll be recreating recipes from that
show live on stage. “One of my hobbies
is gardening and because you are stuck
inside a kitchen all day, it’s nice to get out in the garden,”
says Graham. “I will be making dishes from the show and
handing-out recipes. If people like the TV series and the
dishes in it, it would be nice for them to come along and see
exactly how they are made, live, and get to taste them as well.”
The fine art and sculpture exhibition has also grown in
size this year and will once again feature the magical work
of micro sculptor Willard Wigan MBE with some of his
latest pieces.
So if you dig gardening, love leaves and favour flowers, The
Gardening Show is the place to plant yourself this summer.a174
