Vote for ICAN offi ce makeover Employees of the year honored
SanTan Sun area residents can help ICAN Chief Executive Offi cer Christy
McClendon receive a $20,000 offi ce renovation by voting online in the “Goodmans
Eye for the Good Guy” contest. McClendon is one of 10 Valley fi nalists in the
contest, which rewards “the most dedicated and effective leader of a Maricopa
County 501(c)(3) nonprofi t.”
“These fi nalists represent an extraordinary group of nonprofi t leaders whose
tireless efforts are transforming their communities,” says Adam Goodman, president
of the contest’s sponsor, Goodmans Interior Structures. “Although we can only
award one offi ce renovation in Phoenix, they all deserve an aesthetically pleasing
and functional work environment that will help enhance their organization’s

will be presented to area teachers this summer and next school year to incoming
seventh-graders.
