this park is a favorite with most eagle kids, with its
challenging multi-age appropriate playground and
interactive water feature. the park also offers volleyball
and basketball courts, as well as an open playing field,
picnic areas, and a covered shelter that can be reserved
for special events. nestled against the Boise river, Merrill
Park provides easy access to the greenbelt, where your
family can stroll and enjoy the river’s natural beauty.
Stephen C. Guerber Park, 2200 E. Hill Road
eagle’s newest park was completed in early 2007.
amenities include a rock climbing wall, multi-age
playground equipment, a seasonal water feature, and
two picnic shelters that can be reserved for special
events. the park also offers a baseball diamond and
a large open playing field where soccer and lacrosse
teams routinely practice. a hiking trail circles the park
and provides direct walking access to residents.

the eagle public library is one of the most popular
destinations for eagle families. the 16,700 square foot
library in the heart of downtown was completed in
1999 and offers families a dedicated children’s book
and video section, as well as a wide array of special
programs, including an annual summer reading program.
the community room at the library can be reserved
for noncommercial events and meetings. the library is open

great budget conscious way to introduce your kids to the game.
Idaho Velodrome and Eagle Sports Complex

adjacent to the eagle Sports Complex, which provides basketball
courts, and a 12,500 square foot skate park is the new idaho
Velodrome, which promises to be a cycling mecca for bike
enthusiasts from all over the treasure Valley. When completed,
the complex will include a cement regulation sized velodrome.
miles of trails are already available for hiking and biking
enjoyment. the park also features jumps and ramps for the more
daring riders. Be sure to wear your helmet, and enjoy the ride!
