Meetings and Speakers
At the last meeting (16th March) I told those present that I had informed Vice
President Bob that I would not be continuing as Speaker Co-ordinator. It is really
necessary in my view that one tries to keep 2 to 3months ahead so I agreed to
continue for up to 3months to the end of September if it is found to be neces-
sary. We will be continuing the present system of members finding speakers
during this period until I finish, after that it will of course be the decision of the
incoming Speaker finder and President.
With the exception of those members who have duties on a meeting night all
others have produced a Speaker (in fact some 2) so we start the process again.
When our Secretary returns undoubtedly he and the incoming President will
confirm the program from July onwards and I will then have dates available for
the queue of members who have Speakers eager to know them.
Finally, to any prospective Speaker Co-ordinater, it’s all on computer which you
are very welcome to. The files not the computer.
