humour and fi ne art.
The portfolios contain around 6000 stock designs and photographs – a plentiful resource! The artists
and photographers are able to accept commissions and are very experienced in the process of taking
an idea from concept to sketch to fi nal artwork. The designs they produce are suitable for greeting
cards, gift wrap, gift bags, tableware, all paper products, publishing and advertising – in fact anything
that needs a design!
The Portfolio Select website (www.portfolioselect.co.uk) has a unique client login that enables the
art resource buyer to register and then select designs, which can then be saved to a personal gallery.
The client is able to search for designs using category or keyword search, and from there it’s just one
click to send the enquiry. Designs can easily be added or removed by the user from the client gallery
making the process fast, effi cient and eff ective. On the technical side, Portfolio Select is usually able
to deliver any type of fi le format, at any size to any location (usually by ftp transfer or secure web
download link). Artwork and photography can also be sent in any media format from original artwork,
transparency (if available) and CD or DVD.
Creative and managing director David Seddon has established a reputation with the industry for
fi rst class customer service and attention to detail. Fast eff ective communication and delivery is the
key to a happy customer. As an artist himself, David is ideally placed to assist in the creative process
between customer and artist, while keeping his keen eye on the commercial aspect of each design
during the creative process helps to keep the design innovative and fresh. Having a good rapport with
each artist is an essential quality that is always maintained.
As a business, Portfolio Select believes in paying promptly. For this reason, artists and suppliers are
usually paid the same day as payment is received from the customer. This helps promote goodwill
with artists and good credit with suppliers!
Based in the south east of England with close links to the M25 and M1 Portfolio Select is ideally
located for its UK customers. As a small business, the offi ce is usually open all hours, which helps with
international enquiries and orders.
