Painted Planet Licensing Group has
had an exciting year. It has updated
its look and added new artists,
expanding the variety of artwork
that is available for licensing. It
now represents 20 talented artists
– painters, graphic artists and an
award-winning photographer.

Award-winning artist Art Poulin off ers

century architecture. His gentle
countryside scenes have attracted
fi ne art collectors and galleries
worldwide. Jon Smithers is an avid
nature and landscape photographer,
while Roann Mathias is a mixed media
artist, who specialises in calligraphy
and combines glorious backgrounds
with inspirational sentiments.
Painted Planet’s designs provide
endless possibilities for almost any type of product. Judy Westegaard’s designs are found on tabletop products for Certifi ed International. Bobbie
T. has sculpted the whimsical Figments line for Demdaco. Newfy’s delightful cats and dogs are found on paper products for Current. Betty
Caithness’ nostalgic scenes are found on gift bags, cards, stained glass and other gift items. Kathleen Hill’s magnifi cent horses can be found on
fabric. Angie Garibaldi Gould’s graphic designs have been licensed for fabric and paper products. Chrissy Ogden Marsh is a seven time Louie Award

Paper Road represents over 20 artists, several of whom are launching new lines at
Surtex. In addition to these new lines, the artists of Paper Road will have portfolios
containing surface designs for all seasons and occasions, as well as characters for
fashion, paper, and book publishers. The artwork covers a wide terrain, and the
signature style of the artists cannot be denied. The most obvious applications include
gourmet food and wine accessories, home entertaining and decorative accents, paper
and gift publishing for the offi ce and home, kitchen linens, baby, bath and body, pets,
toys, games and others.
Paper Road off ers fresh, trendy, current images as well as traditional, timeless,
quality artwork to enhance their products by matching the right artwork to the
manufacturer’s market needs. Paper Road also creates and develops concepts specifi c
to the manufacturer’s market. Paper Road off ers access to a group of world-renowned
artists who commonly collaborate with companies such as Blue Q, Callaway, Chef Jamie

Sally Hefl in, who founded Paper Road, has been an artist’s agent since 1996. Sally works closely with her customers and artists to make sure the
creative process runs smoothly, that problems are anticipated, and that the end result exceeds expectations. Sally was educated in the arts and
parlayed her art knowledge into a communications career, which enables her to understand the market needs of both the artist and the customer.
