For over 151 years the Royal Highland Hotel has been looking after
travellers from all over the world. It is the oldest hotel in the centre
of the Highland capital, Inverness, and its decor is rich with
traditional furniture. In the foyer is the sweeping staircase,
reputedly the original inspiration for the design of the famous
Grand Staircase on the ill-fated cruise liner RMS Titanic.
