This class meets new State requirements for mandatory education for all applicants who are
■ new or renewing notaries. Learn how to perform notarial acts, step by step.
■ REQUIREMENTS: Arrive 15 minutes before class: Bring $35 material fee to instructor,
■
highlighter, 2”x2”passport picture, drivers license, passport, or resident ID, and a #2 pencil.

To take the State exam: Log onto https://notary.cps.ca.gov or call (916) 263-3520 to schedule

a testing date. You may register for the exam at any time. Taking the education class prior
to the exam is recommended. Class is ongoing—register at any time. Call to register and to
