Learn how to organize lists of information by creating spreadsheets. You’ll be introduced to

basic Excel concepts, such as becoming familiar with the terminology, and how to input data,

edit data, create a spreadsheet, produce charts, and more! Patient, supportive, instruction. Bring
a floppy disk or purchase one in the Main Office. Priority given to current and wait-list students

Learn basic steps on how to use Adobe Photoshop Elements to scan and retouch photos, creating
■ logos, and flyers. Class limited to 9 students. Prerequisite: basic computer skills.

Custom Projects using Elements 6.0 Basics (Instructor-directed)

Learn how to explore and create your own personalized calendar, business cards, and other
specialized, custom, projects using basic Photoshop Elements techniques and your favorite

photos. You’ll explore fun and easy ways how to enhance your existing photos, such as how to
■ remove red eye and other imperfections, and how to scan and save your photos to your flash

drive. Prepare to have fun in this class! Bring your flash drive to the first class. Prerequisite:
Basic computer skills. Class limited to 9 students. Lab fee of $10, payable to instructor at the

first class.

Health, Fitness, Nutrition and Safety

CPR for the Professional Rescuer

Learn to save lives. Red Cross course covers CPR for adults, children, and infants. Also covers
■ two-person CPR, rescue breathing, and AED training. Upon completion of course, students

will be issued a certificate from the school without any additional charge. Students requiring a
Red Cross card must pay an additional fee in class. Class size is limited. Must register one week

prior to class. Payment by cash or credit card. Older adults (50 years and older), fee only $25.

Students MUST be on time to take this class. Students with any type of respiratory infection

will not be allowed in class.
