It takes a committed community to provide the neces-
sary funds for a hospital to not only grow, but prosper and
improve it’s level of care.
No one needs to be told the importance of a well-spon-
sored, well-equipped hospital. For The Ottawa Hospital,
however, the stakes are even higher. Not only is the hos-
pital providing state-of-the-art health care in the Ottawa
region and eastern Ontario, but its cancer unit and re-
search is having an impact on the fight against cancer,
worldwide.
On March 31, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation invited
community partners to their annual President’s Dinner,
where they recognized outstanding contributions to the
hospital which has allowed it to continue its ground-
breaking research into cancer treatment.
