Get ‘hoppy’ at Easter events
There are plenty of opportunities for SanTan Sun area
children to greet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs,
including Chandler’s hometown signature Easter event,
the Chandler’s Family Easter Celebration, at Snedigar
Sportsplex on April 11.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m., followed by egg scrambles
at 10:30 a.m. and the Family Easter Basket Giveaway
at 11:30 a.m. Additional highlights include children’s
activities, take-home arts and crafts, information booths
and photos with the Easter Bunny. Participants are
encouraged to bring their best Easter bonnets to compete
for prizes for the most creative and festive in their age
categories – there’s even one for adults.
In addition, winners of Chandler’s Easter coloring
contest are announced. Entry forms are available at
all Chandler community and recreation centers, with

Admission is free with minimal charges for some
EGGS & BUNNIES: Egg hunts, visits with the Easter Bunny and Easter bonnet competitions are all part of the fun at Chandler’s Family
