Ric Sweirat from the local host organization for all of his work in helping to
present this year’s training.
Th e Committ ee has prepared a rich and lively conference replete with
interactive sessions, plenaries and break-out sessions with facilitated dis-
cussions. Th ere will also be ample opportunity for social capital building
among our members in “Th e Big Apple.” Our annual meeting will be held
in November this year at Th e Arc’s National Convention in Albuquerque,
NM. We hope to see all of you at that event as well.
Th e Board of NCE has continued to listen and change the organization
to meet the ever changing needs and challenges of the Executive Directors,
as well as their key leadership teams in Th e Arc’s chapters. Th e NCE Board
of Directors is very interested in your input so that we can continually fi nd
new and bett er ways to meet your objectives and be bett er prepared to face
Change, Challenge and Opportunity on the Horizon!
