images. Th en of course there is the artist as icon. Rolf Harris CBE [Pictured] has been a
household name for many years, and his artwork has been recognised with some amazing
accolades including the famous commission to paint the offi cial 80th birthday portrait of the
Queen. As his own 80th birthday approaches, he can enjoy the knowledge that over his long
career he has become a contemporary art icon in his own right.
Rosenstiel’s recently announced the publication of eight striking and highly unusual
photographs of iconic British landmarks by the artist Jurek Nems.
Taking as his theme for this collection the gothic and Victorian splendour of Central
London, the fi rst eight Nems prints published all have an image size and paper size of 20”
x 20” [50cm x 50cm] and, it is understood, have met with a hugely popular response at the
spring round of trade shows.
It is further understood that additional subjects by Jurek Nems as to be published later in
the spring.
