Kristie Hasselberg is a very hard working, eager and enthusiastic teen who works hard to accomplish
her goals. She has been in Girl Guides since Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and is now a
junior leader. She has been in guiding for 13 years.

Emma Dillion
Emma grew up in Australia with her mom, dad and older brother. She moved to Canada in 2004. Her
hobbies are horse riding and rugby. For the past four years she babysits three kids every summer.
Emma has volunteered with many different organizations including the Country Haven Stables and
Ross Creek Stables where she teaches safety to young children as well as to tend to the horses. Emma
was volunteering with Country Haven for three years and has moved
on to Ross Creek Stables. Emma volunteers for the junior and senior

Bridgitte Hoger
Bridgitte worked through Girls Guides from Brownies to Pathfinders for seven years and received the
Canada Cord which is the highest award that can be achieved. She has been involved in the Medicine
Hat Youth Wellness Centre for over two-and-a-half years and is currently the secretary. She was invited to
attend a provincial youth engagement leadership conference in November of 2008 by the youth centre co-
ordinator. Bridgitte has been a contributing member to the TIC TAC organization at the library for over three
years. This group organizes fun activities for Medicine Hat youth on a monthly basis. She has also been very
involved in our church, serving at masses for almost seven years. She also helps prepare and serve Sunday
breakfast meals at St. Pat's cafe as time allows. She was a volunteer for the Canada Day Celebrations in
2007 and 2008, working 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days! She is also a member
of the McCoy High School Band program, and is a member of the jazz
