Cheyanne Organ
Over the last few years, Cheyanne Organ has volunteered for the YMCA, the public library and a Ranch
in Claresholm. Through these opportunities she has helped by reading stories, setting up arts and crafts
and organizing and setting up games for children five-10 years old. She used positive encouragement to
help all the children involved to become team players, which has helped some of these children gain self-
esteem. Cheyanne has made sure to follow safety procedures to ensure the safety of all children involved
in the activities she has volunteered for. Aside from the volunteer work
for agencies, she has also volunteered throughout her neighbourhood

Shyanna Albrecht
Even as a young child, Shyanna Albrecht showed a strong interest in helping others. At daycare, she always
signed up for teacher's helper and was always there to help out with the younger students. This desire to
help continued throughout her early years in grade school and recently she volunteered at the Crescent
Heights Daycare Centre as a kindergarten monitor.
In an effort to expand her volunteerism, Shyanna spent six months at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital
lending a hand wherever she was needed. She also volunteered for the St. Mary's School canteen, an event
which helped raise money for the school to purchase
books and supplies. From taking over the volunteer co- Volunteer Organizations
