The Missouri Conference Review
The Missouri Conference Review is published every two weeks (26 times a year) in cooperation with
UMR Communications in Dallas, Tex. Section A, pages 1-8, are prepared by the Missouri Conference
news editor. Section B is the national edition of the United Methodist Reporter prepared by UMR.

Currently about 7,500 United Methodists in Missouri receive the Missouri Conference Review. It is
mailed to active and retired clergy, six officers at every church, and paid subscribers. Bulk bundles
of the newspaper can be purchased and distributed during Sunday worship services. Bulk bundles of
50 are available for $175 per year. Individual subscriptions are $15 per year.

The Review is offered in three different formats; print newspaper, PDF, and a digital edition. The
latest edition of the Review in all formats can be found online at www.moumethodist.org/review, a
link to the newspaper archive can also be found on that page.

News
Anyone may submit a news item. Suggested length on news stories is up to 400 words.
Stories should be of a nature that would be of interest to the entire Missouri Conference.
Stories that tell of how a church has embarked on a new ministry, with information about
the planning process, implementation and results, are given highest priorities. Stories
should contain contact information that can be shared with readers who want to know
more.

Photos
Photos may also be submitted. Digital photos should be at least 200 dpi at 4” x 6”. Photos
and stories should be e-mailed to Fred Koenig at fkoenig@moumethodist.org.

Paid Advertising
The Missouri Conference Review accepts paid advertising for display ads. Rates start at
$150. This is a way to promote an event repetitively. For more information regarding

Deadlines
The deadline for the Missouri Area Review is two weeks prior to the publication date. News
about upcoming events should be submitted to the editor at least six weeks prior to the
date of the event to ensure sufficient time for publication.

The Digital Edition of the Review
The Review is also offered in a free digital edition for easy online readability and sharing. You can
scroll through the pages, click the live e-mail/website link, download the edition to read at a later
time, and print it.
