Bright Agency
London-based art agency The Bright Agency
showcased its revolutionary new software
application called Sparkle Box at Spring
Fair and announced the formation of a new
sub-division called Heartfelt to focus on the
greetings and gifts sectors.
Sparkle Box is bespoke web-based
system, designed to speed up the secure
exchange of illustrative content between
Bright-registered artists and clients, using
advanced technology that is currently only
available on photographic stock sites.
“The launch of Heartfelt will see us
being able to offer our clients and artists
a much more personalised and targeted
service,” says agency founder, Vicki Willden-
Lebrecht (right). “Sparkle Box makes the
website a dream to use - it is really going
to transform the way things are done, from
sourcing right through to commissioning.”
Founded just five years ago, The Bright
Agency claims to be the UK’s fastest growing
agency in the art licensing sector.
Bright owns the copyright to the Sparkle
Box software and it will be the engine
behind the agency’s presence on the Web.
“Sparkle Box is a huge leap forward for us,” comments Vicki. “It will make life easier
for everyone and also bring down the cost of sale as it will save our clients time in
sourcing artwork.”

A Nice Touch
Visitors to Spring Fair looking
for something different would
have found it with newcomer
to the greetings marketplace, A
Nice Touch.
First was the newly-
launched Bottle Bows, which is
designed to personalise the gift
of a bottle of wine for less than
£1 and avoiding need for a card
or a bottle bag.
Second was a range of
photographic cards featuring
adult humour and the
introduction of a humorous,
wobbly movement.
The Wobbly Bits cards use a
cut out shape attached to a card
with a spring to give the cut out a funny, wobbly action. “The Wobbly Bits” range began
with bums that wiggle but now includes bellies that wobble and heads that nod and
shake,” says marketing manager, Helen Mihill.
A Nice Touch is currently looking at the feasibility of producing a series featuring
fun animals that is less likely to upset those of a more gentile disposition and also so
that its newly appointed agents can sell the wobbly idea to a wider audience.
