• Digital mammograms, which provide more
detailed images than film and give doctors the
ability to adjust images on their screen to enhance
contrast or to magnify specific areas.
• iCAD technology, a tool that provides “another
set of eyes” to alert doctors to take a closer look at
suspicious areas.
• Stereotactic biopsy, which can be done on an
outpatient basis using local anesthesia.
• Ultrasound support, which provides a follow-up
to mammograms when additional information is
needed.
