Remmers fast curing, structural
waterproofing materials are being
used to tank the basement at the new
Supreme Court of the United
Kingdom. The court will start work in
October 2009 at a cost of £57million
and it’s fundamental role will be to
hear appeals from courts in the
United Kingdom’s three legal
systems. The basement has been
waterproofed using Remmers Sulfatex
Grout Rapid waterproofing system which allows the specialist
waterproofing contractor to apply a full system within just one day.

Wykamol
Wykamol have launched the Geotex
triple-layer membrane system. Quicker,
easier and cleaner to install, with less
preparation required, it can be used down
to 10m below ground on most foundation
materials including ICF and concrete.
Used over a primary coating of Technoseal
DPM and in conjunction with an Aquadrain
ground drain, the membrane has an
integrated inner slip membrane with
welded-on geotextile to the outer surface.
The system includes all fittings and capping
detail for finishing.
