2 cups ham, cubed
1 can cream style corn
1 can corn with red & green peppers
1 cup self rising white cornmeal
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, well beaten
4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
combine all ingredients except cheese. Pour into 12" Dutch oven. Cook at 350 degrees
(17 coals on top; 8 coals on bottom) for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
Sprinkle cheese over top. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted. Let
set for 5 minutes before serving and slicing.
