Yesterday...
It was 1972, Richard Milhouse Nixon was president. Peter and
LeAnna were married in the fall of that year, after which they were
assigned a three year mission assignment in New York City to work
with homeless teenage girls. During the three years in New York
City, Peter and LeAnna started craft projects in the basement of the
house which was called the Staten Island Girls Home. Craft and
gift items were made by the girls during the week and sold on the
weekends at juried craft shows in Manhattan. Shortly before their
return to Ohio in 1976, their first child, Anna, was born.
Upon arrival back on the farm, Peter went to work building upon
the craft projects they had pioneered in New York City. He secured
a day job building silos and in the evenings went to work at
starting a wood working business.

Today...
2009, thirty seven years later, that business
has grown to encompass a 31 acre complex
in Dalton, Ohio, with 100 employees,
a wholesale base of over 4,000 dealers.
Blessed by the work ethic of the community,
dedicated employees that have stayed with
the business from the beginning, and by an
all-powerful God who keeps the Dunns and
their business firmly in the palm of His hand,
P. Graham Dunn continues to forge ahead
and search out new business opportunities
for dealers in a challenging economy. Peter
and LeAnna are now blessed with leadership
from the next generation. Joe Knutson, their
son-in-law, manages the retail operations.
Paul, their oldest son, runs the product
development department. Their daughter-
in-law Sommer works in the flagship store
in Dalton, and the two grandchildren keep
LeAnna preoccupied on the home front.
