HS TAQ DNA POLYMERASE
Bullseye™ HS Taq DNA Polymerase is a modifi ed form of Bullseye™ Taq DNA Polymerase that is activated at
elevated temperatures. A chemical moiety is attached to the enzyme at the active site and renders it inactive at room
temperature. This feature prevents mispriming during setup and the fi rst ramp of thermal cycling, resulting in higher
specifi city and greater yields. The chemical moiety is cleaved during a 15 minute heat activation step, releasing the
active HS Taq DNA Polymerase into the reaction.

LONG TAQ POLYMERASE
Bullseye™ Long Taq Polymerase combines Bullseye’s high quality Taq DNA Polymerase with a small amount of PR
Polymerase that has a 3’-5’ proofreading exonuclease activity. The Long Taq Polymerase mix is optimized for high-yield
amplifi cations of 5-20kb. A mix of the processive Bullseye Taq DNA Polymerase and Taq DNA Polymerase enables the
correction of misincorporated nucleotides which signifi cantly increases the length of amplifi cation product. Amplifi cation
of some G-C rich templates may also benefi t from the addition of DMSO which has been reported to give DNA thermal
stability against depurination.
