Lights, music and dance
comes to town
Following all the Christmas excitement, don’t let boredom set in over the
coming winter weeks. Your town plays host to a range of great shows,
celebrities and entertainment. Here are a few of the highlights on offer at
the BIC and Pavilion…
Winter Ice Skating continues at the BIC so if you haven’t yet perfected your
figure skating moves you have until 22 February to do so. As well as the larger
main rink there is a new ‘Ice and Easy’ area for beginners and ‘Icicles’ area
for younger children. It’s even decorated to a winter theme with a café and
music. See our competition below.
Come to the Pavilion Ballroom on 23 January and see An Audience with Ann
Widdecombe. Or for a bit of music and glamour The Pussycat Dolls will be at
the BIC on 25 January and Sharleen Spiteri on 6 February.
There’s comedy from Jethro at the Pavilion Theatre on 9 February. And world
famous Riverdance stops off at The BIC on its ‘farewell tour’ from 10 to 15
February. If swing is more your thing An Audience with Andy Abraham will
delight on 13 February at the Pavilion Theatre.
