children. On receiving the report cards if any parent would like to discuss their child’s report with their teacher, a time will be made available in Week 10.
The school has also been very busy in the last week with several representative groups travelling to sporting events including the Western Region Cross Country and the Western Region Rugby Union Trials. At the Cross Country, Ellis Hawker was crowned the Western Region Champion and will now compete at the
State Cross
Country in Sydney later in the year. We also congratulate all representative of the school at these events.
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT Dear Parents
Cowra Public School is currently finalising the reporting period, with reports to parents scheduled to be out on Monday, 25 June. The teachers and staff have been very busy completing assessment of children’s work and academic growth in semester one, with very results.
It is a pleasure to read the comments on the student report cards and see high achievement being reached by so many students in all subject areas.

starting at 12.00 noon. Having heard the Verse Speaking at Mrs Colavito’s farewell assembly I can appreciate their efforts and training and fully agree with Mrs Hilton that they deserve a reward for their hard work.

PRIMARY VERSE SPEAKING & SINGING CHOIRS
REWARD As a reward for their tireless efforts at the Cowra Eisteddfod this year, the Cowra Public School Primary Verse Speaking and Singing Choirs have been invited to attend the matinee performance of the Cowra High School musical “Next Stop Broadway” at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, 20 June at 12 noon.
The students will walk to and from the Civic Centre accompanied by Mrs Hilton and Mrs Kilby.
