Welcome to a new school year for 2012, and a BIG GPS welcome to our 6 new kindergarten students; Bailey Peckham, Hailey Williams, Brayden Dowd, Isabelle Abby, Jacquie Lawrence, Alyssa Gibson (pictured) and their families. All students have settled in and are loving their first weeks at Gooloogong Public School. It’s wonderful to see the new parents become involved in recent school activities and being part of the School Community.

We have adopted a new policy (from Canowindra High SRP). We are extremely proud of each and every student and, through the ‘Classic Catch’ Award recognition policy will recognize positive school behaviours and attributes in the areas of Schooling, Respect & Responsibility and Participation. Various Award levels can be achieved by the students within the year and major levels will be recognized during school assemblies within the 5 achievement levels. We will keep you up to date throughout the year on who’s been ‘caught’ being good! Small Schools

This carnival was held on the 13th February with many of our students from Kindergarten to year 6 eagerly participating in a range of competitive and non competitive events.
