Annual General Meeting - The Log Cabin AGM will be held Tuesday 13th March, 7.30pm at the Log Cabin. Variety Concert and Dinner After a great Australia Day performance in the park where the town got a taste of Aussie family fun, Mel and Suzie the champion bush poets are back. Annul General Meeting The AGM will be held Tuesday 10th April 2012, 7.30pm at the Rooms. ANZAC DAY 2012 A new format for Anzac Day has been prepared for this year. Dawn Service is 6am at the War Memorial Rooms. Breakfast will be served there - Ex Servicemen and Women free, all others $5. The Parade will commence at 10am. We will assemble for the parade at the Rooms for a short march to the War Memorial in the park for the service and wreath laying.

We’re sad to report February’s Sunday Market was the last. Thanks to the stallholders for your support. Thanks to our regulars who came browsing to show their valuable support on the second Sunday of the month. Thanks Johno for your organisation and perseverance, and of course for introducing us to the (now infamous) Gooloogong Roadkill Café. Also thanks to Lou and Jim for taking it over and staying up late to provide those delicious, fresh, home baked goodies on the menu!


Council Road Works Council is widening and


strengthening the road shoulders on Forbes Road under contract for the RTA. Temporary delays may occur so Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for your co-operation and patience during the work - expected to be completed by May. Hooligans on Notice!


Residents are annoyed about late night anti-social behaviour and irresponsible damage to property, outside the Log Cabin. We take irresponsible behaviour seriously and urge the community to report incidents immediately to the police so these people can be dealt with.
