for 2016 MA International Relations


Develop the critical knowledge and practical skills required to identify and assess policy at the international level, including how to analyse the foreign and defence needs of sovereign powers and the policy choices of national and international leaders. With internship opportunities, study trips and guest lectures by some of the world’s leading diplomats, politicians and academics, this course will challenge you to engage with the real world of international relations while preparing you for an exciting career in diplomacy or business. Some modules are conveniently offered during evenings.

MA Migration, Society and Policy


This programme offers a contemporary and interdisciplinary focus on migration and related socio-political and policy issues. It combines theoretical, methodological and practice- oriented training relevant to a number of career routes in academia, policy making, the public sector, the community sector and NGOs. The programme offers a wide range of options from disciplines such as law, politics and sociology and incorporates opportunities to undertake field- trips, placements and internships, both locally and internationally. The teaching team includes leading experts on migration studies, who operate within prominent European and global networks of researchers and practitioners.
