Board of Directors: Service to Shooting’s Future

The 17 members of the USA Shooting Board of Direc- tors (BOD) come together in the spirit of making a differ- ence and to help formulate the path for USA Shooting’s future. They represent the vast shooting sport constitu- ency and those allied groups that comprise it, while serv- ing a vital role in the over- all development of the USA Shooting Team.

“We’re very lucky to

have the infl uence, loyalty and passion we do with our Board of Directors,” said Robert Mitchell, USA Shoot- ing Chief Executive Offi cer. “They have long been a mod- el for the NGB family for their ability to establish policy and provide oversight while al- lowing staff to manage the daily affairs of the organiza- tion. It’s comforting know-

ing that all of us are working together for the betterment of our sport and to be rep- resented by such effective leaders in the industry.” The leadership comes

in the way of two Olympic shooting legends, a doctor, a lawyer, a union president, an accountant, with spots also reserved for representatives of the U.S. Army Marksman- ship Unit, National Shooting

Sports Foundation, the Na- tional Rifl e Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program. We’re proud of the repre-

sentation they provide and for the work they are doing toward ensuring USA Shoot- ing’s future.
