Charles Werner began his employment with NFEC on March 3, 1992 when he was hired as chief accountant. He retired on May 30. Charlie and his wife, Sandy, will continue residing in Elk City, and he looks forward to traveling, ski- ing, and spending more time with his children.

The cooperative honored

both employees with receptions. Family members, friends and co-workers joined in the festivities, sharing stories and fond memories of working to- gether for so many years.“Everyone at NFEC and its Board of Trustees wishes Charlie and Steva all the best in their retirements. They will always be a part of our Northfork family,” said Copeland.

Two Long-Time Employees Honored for Years of Service as they Retire

Northfork Electric recently said goodbye to two long-time employees.

Steva Adams and Charles Werner wrapped up a collective 44 years of service. Their retirements were announced by Scott Copeland, General Manager of NFEC.

“Charlie and Steva have been dedicated and loyal employees for the past

22 years. Their contributions to this organization have made a huge impact on NFEC and what it stands for today.”

Steva Adams joined North- fork Electric on May 24, 1992 as a part-time night dispatcher. In 1997, she started her full-time position as data entry clerk. Steva worked her final day on May 20. Steva and her husband, Gary, have relocated to Yukon, OK to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She is excited for a change and to be a full- time grandma.
