Travel Trade Crusade


Last week, adventurers from the industry – including TTG’s Louise Napier – headed across the Channel teams lined up for the trip through Europe before competitors hit the highways of France, Belgium, L of their chosen charities. Each team was required to take part in a series of challenges with winners

something to the industry and to charity. It was also a great opportunity to spend time with colleagues. What charity were you competing for? The Hospice of the Good Shepherd and Reuben’s Retreat. So far we have raised £700. Fancy dress outfits: Day 1 – welders; Day 2 – mad professors; Day 3 – French mime artists Funniest moment: Convincing many of the other Crusade participants that Hisham, who was arriving later than everyone else because of work commitments, had travelled to the wrong Lille.

One of our team had taken part in the inaugural event and when this year’s was announced we were one of the first to sign up. We also love driving and it appealed to our inner child – plus we wanted the opportunity to give something back. What charity were you competing for? Macmillan Cancer Support. So far we have raised £1,100 and we are targeting £1,500. Fancy dress outfits:
