THE GOOD, THE GLAD AND

THE AGILE Just released is a new Footfall Monitoring service, part of The Changing Workplace’s suite of Workplace Tracking solutions for the Corporate Real Estate sector. Footfall monitoring can help organisations understand how their workspace is being used at any point in time, identifying opportunities to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of a floor, building or entire portfolio.

“Our service verifies how your portfolio’s current design and layout is working. You get a clear, detailed picture of usage and capacity, not just a snapshot,” said Steve Thorley, CEO of The Changing Workplace.

Video-based counters detect people passing beneath and beam counters emit and detect an infrared beam, identifying people passing through, and capturing occupancy and utilisation data.

“The sensor technology feeds data back to produce comprehensive and highly visual reports and our team can help with analysis and further understanding, leading to actionable data made available in formats that are easy to digest,” added Steve.

CRAYOLA EXPERIENCE WINS BIG FOR

GESTURETEK GestureTek Systems has been awarded Best Entertainment/Gaming Digital Signage Display at the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) Industry Excellence Awards for the hugely successful installation, Art Alive!, at the Crayola Experience. This is the second top award GestureTek has picked up for the Crayola installation, having already won the Gold Apex Award at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) Awards earlier this year.

Art Alive! allows children to create art on a mobile device and be immersed and interact in a virtual world with their own art work. At 40 different iPad stations, guests can colour and draw their own image, apply an animation effect to it (shrink, breakup, spin, change colour, etc.) and then send it to one of four custom worlds (underwater, space, fairytale, safari) that are projected onto four screens. Once a guest's creation is on the big screen, they can step up and interact with the animated world, as well as their own art work by using their whole body or waving their arms in front of the screen.
