Grand Canyon National Park

Lake Powell N

orthern Arizona and the Colorado River boast some of the most iconic vistas on the planet. Canyon de Chelly, Petrified Forest, Monument Valley, Sedona, and Flagstaff all call Northern Arizona home. The mighty Colorado River forms Arizona’s western border before cutting across Northern Arizona and creating the Grand Canyon. Not only is the Colorado to thank for the immenseness of the Grand Canyon, but numerous dams on the river have created some of the most pristine lakefront property in the Southwest including Lake Powell and Lake Mead.

Snowshoeing in Flagstaff Outdoor recreation is a staple of the

region, but this stunning oasis of small communities, canyons, mountains, lakes and forests has also become a four-season venue for events as well. Many of these destinations are a scant 90 minute drive north from Phoenix and the Sonoran Desert.
