Account Management at your Finger Tips


Kay Electric Cooperative has added a brand new means of communication and interaction to our already extensive roster of communication methods for members. In addition to phone calls, text messages, office visits, direct mail, and the social media platforms of Facebook and Twitter, we now "have an app for that" called SmartHub. Registration is easy and many of you are already connected. If you have E-bill, you can use your same username and password to sign into Smarthub. For first time users and non E-bill members, all you need is your KEC account number, your name, and an e-mail address. Developed by National Infor- mation Solutions Cooperative (NISC)—the same developer KEC uses for accounting, E-bill, and data management—and customized by KEC, SmartHub provides you instant access to your electric account, customer service, and outage reporting. Users can choose to receive an e-mail or text for KEC noti-


fications, like when a payment is due or a service interruption is scheduled.SmartHub allows members to make payments right from their smart phone or tablet—for FREE; but it is more than just a payment platform. SmartHub is an information hub delivering personal electric usage data directly to wherever you are, safely and securely. Once in SmartHub, use the My Usage tab to see your hourly, daily and monthly usage habits. This platform enhances and expands the options KEC members have to access their account information and interact with the cooperative.
