ighth grade students attending school in Choctaw Electric service territory could win a trip to YouthPower Energy Camp this summer. The electric cooperative camp helps teens build leadership skills and learn cooperative principles in the scenic surrounds at Red Rock Canyon near Hinton.

Interested teens are asked to write a 150-word essay on the topic, “How Does


Electricity Make My Life Better?” Three students will be selected to attend camp based on the quality of their essays.


Energy Camp will be held May 27-30, 2014. The deadline to enter is January 10, 2014.
