LED Luxury

Truelux Lighting UK Ltd have recently installed various LED products to the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales.

After a full resort analysis of Celtic Manor Resort, efficient LED lighting was proposed over the existing traditional inefficient halogen lamps which were across many parts of the resort and its associated buildings. Many lights are operating 24 hours per

day and by changing the lighting there would be a possible 77% reduction in energy costs, reduced maintenance and replacement costs. There is also a significant CO2 emission savings. 7.1W Toshiba GU10 lamps replaced 35W and 50W halogen lamps in all public areas, maintaining lux levels and creating a 35 degree beam angle for general lighting. In addition to this, the new LED’s have a low colour temperature of 2700K. Toshiba PAR30s were installed in all conference rooms. It was imperative that they maintain the luxurious and welcoming atmosphere of the existing lighting from the main lobby to the restaurant bars, atriums and convention centres as well as save on energy and cost.
