Eurocopter, which continues to pro­ vide a range of state­of­the­art helicop­ ters for business transportation. Corporate Helicopters, founded in 1990 by Ivor and Deann Shier, is a com­ plete provider of helicopter trans­ portation and services. The company performed an extensive survey of heli­ copters on the market including their capabilities, reliability and operating costs before concluding the EC155 was the right aircraft.


“At the end of the day it fit the mis­ sions that we wanted a corporate heli­ copter for and there was great value for the money,” said Shier, who added that the EC155 fits the profile. “The lines look sleek. The twin­engine EC155 is a technolog­ ically advanced helicopter that is fast, exceptionally smooth, quiet and com­ fortable. It can seat up to eight passen­ gers. The spacious cabin has room for a variety of custom seating arrange­ ments and plenty of room for bags. Numerous interior options are avail­ able, including soft leather club seats and power sources for electronics and in­flight entertainment. It has a state­ of­the­art cockpit and is IFR capable.
