KARNDEAN BACK AT HARROGATE Karndean Designflooring will be back at Harrogate in 2013 after a short break from the show. You will find them at stand M23, where they will have a full-sized showroom on display.

Not only will you be able to see the full product range, but you can also get your hands on new product Karndean LooseLay. If you want to, you can even try your hand at laying it yourself!

Designed with an innovative friction-grip backing, this wonder- product cuts installation time dramatically, whilst still offering all of the usual Karndean bells and whistles – stylish wood and stone look designs, a 0.55 wear layer, R9 slip rating, and a 15 year domestic guarantee.

Karndean are also launching their exciting new iPhone and iPad app. The app uses ‘Augmented Reality’ technology, to allow you to see what any Karndean floor looks like in your own

home, business, or any other space where you’d like to lay a floor.

On Monday afternoon, Karndean Business Development Manager, Mark Darnbrough, will be at the show presenting a seminar on LVT within the retail environment. The talk will focus on how LVT can help overcome many of the challenges faced by flooring experts in the retail environment, and includes case studies from the likes of Asda, Clintons and Poundland. So, if you have a project coming up which could benefit from hearing how the experts tackle it, pop along on Monday 2nd September, from 15:55 - 16:15.

SEE WHAT EVERYONE’S BEEN TALKING ABOUT… With a successful social media campaign and the launch of a star smoothing underlayment in the space of six months, Richard Harris, Marketing Manager at F. Ball and Co. Ltd., explains why 2013 has been an exciting year for the company.

The Flooring Show in Harrogate has always been a favourite on the F. Ball calendar, and this year is no exception. As we get set for another fabulous exhibition, we’re looking forward to showcasing our latest generation of subfloor flooring solutions, including the show’s main attraction, Stopgap 1200 Pro, which has had a fabulous response from contractors, who are talking and, of course, tweeting about this brand new product.

Since its launch in May, Stopgap 1200 Pro has become one of F. Ball’s top three selling smoothing underlayments, and offers contractors the ultimate minimum preparation, and maximum performance solution, for contaminated and challenging substrates. It’s been fantastic to receive first-hand feedback and photographs via our Twitter and Facebook pages, about how our

products are working for contractors on the front line of flooring installations.

If you’ve yet to try Stopgap 1200 Pro, its time saving and superior flow features will be showcased in the Demo Zone throughout the exhibition, to give visitors the opportunity to see for themselves

why contractors are so enthusiastic about this new underlayment.

We’re hugely proud of our research and development programme at F. Ball, as it helps us to come up with optimum flooring solutions for our customers. The Flooring Show has always been the perfect place to showcase our achievements, while getting to speak to the industry and see what products they feel would benefit contractors.

Please come along to the F. Ball stand, Stand B1, and take the opportunity to speak with our Sales and Marketing team, who are happy to answer any questions and discuss the company’s extensive product range.
