Choctaw Electric Cooperative, Inc. 2012 Annual Meeting Of Members
In accordance with Choctaw Electric Cooperative bylaws, cooperative members will be asked to approve the 2012 minutes at the upcoming CEC Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
CALL TO ORDER
President Mike Bailey called the 72nd Annual Meeting of Choctaw Electric Cooperative to order at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Matlock introduced the Trustees and Attorney Frank Wolf.

WELCOME
Terry Matlock, CEO for Choctaw Electric, welcomed the members and introduced special guests in attendance.
The Choctaw Nation Color Guard executed the posting of the colors ceremony. The 2012 youth tour students led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Payton Gentry sang the National Anthem. Reverend Jonathan Hooker delivered the invocation.
Mr. Matlock addressed the crowd. Mr. Matlock thanked the employees of the cooperative who work hard every day to see that each member receives dependable, reliable electric service and thanked the board for the fantastic job they do for Choctaw Electric.
Additionally Mr. Matlock thanked the members for their attendance today and their continued support of the cooperative.
DECLARATION OF QUORUM
Attorney Frank Wolf reported the bylaws stipulate that 5% of the members must be present in order to conduct business at an annual meeting. As of September 21, 2012, Choctaw Electric had a total of 12,860 members, five percent of that total being 643. As of 11:00 a.m., 1,061 members had registered. Therefore, Mr. Wolf announced that a quorum was present and that the business meeting would proceed.
APPROVING MINUTES
Secretary/Treasurer Rodney Lovitt reported that the minutes of the business meeting conducted during annual meeting 2011 were published

in the September 2012 issue of “Inside Your Coop” and made available at today’s meeting. President Mike Bailey asked for unanimous consent of the minutes as printed in the cooperative’s newsletter be adopted. There being no objection, the minutes were approved.
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING
The Grand Prize of $1500.00 credit toward their electric bill was won by Sylvia North.
ADJOURN
There being no further business to come before the assembly the meeting adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
