“We’re local and we want our customers to be satisfied,” owner Jay D. Coen said. “We strive to service our customers in a timely manner. People have lots of options and we stand out for our service.”

Coen said his company serves a large territory which includes southwest Kansas, southeast Colorado, the Oklahoma Panhandle and the Texas Panhandle. Jay D’s has technicians in several different cities throughout the area.

Coen and his wife Lori operate the company from Elkhart, Kan. Coen said they are a locally owned, family business.

“We often have a shorter response time and better customer service than our competition or even the big companies,” Coen said. “That’s because we’re local and we are part of the communities we serve. And we serve much more than Elkhart, Kan. Our territory is large.”

Coen said satellite television is a great option because of its picture quality, overall number of channels available for a good price and the number of high definition channels. He is something of an expert since he’s been in business since 1983 when the satellite dishes were huge.
