Capital Credit Allocation


The Patronage Capital Credit Allocation Notice is issued in accordance with the Bylaws of People’s Electric Cooperative.


The total amount allocated


for the calendar year of 2012 is $8,883,866.01. The allocation factor is 0.1712845867 for residential accounts, 0.2411368873 for general service/commercial accounts, a 0.1025703258 for large power accounts.


To determine your amount of


capital credit allocation, multiply the allocation factor by the total amount of your electric bill for 2012. The amount of your allocation


is available from the Cooperative upon request.


This amount is not available as


either cash or credit on your electric bill. Refund of this amount in full or in part at any time in the future shall be based on the decision of the Board of Trustees that the financial condition of the Cooperative shall not be impaired by making such refund. This notice is for your information only. If you cease to be a member, please keep us advised of your current address.

ELECTRICITY GOES OFF 1. Check your fuse or breaker box. 2. Check with your neighbors. Are they off? Have they reported the outage?


3. Call our 24 hour Outage Reporting System at toll-free 1-877-272-1500 or (580) 272-1500 (local Ada area).


4. Always report outages promptly! Remember, the cooperative's responsibility ends at the meter. If a service call is made and the trouble is found on the consumer's side, a $50.00 service charge will be assessed.


5. For faster service, please make sure we have the correct phone number(s) for your account on file. Your phone number will be used to access your account information.
