Oklahoma Youth Tour 50 Year Reunion
T
he Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC), along with participating electric cooperatives across the state, is coordinating a 50 Year Reunion. All former Youth Tour participants—students, chaper- ones, and co-op sponsors—are invited to attend this very special event celebrat- ing 50 years of Oklahoma cooperatives sending youth to experience our nation’s Capitol.
The reunion will be held at the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel Reed Con-
ference Center on Saturday, July 20, 2013. The program will begin at 3 p.m. with a reception following from 5-7 p.m. Special hotel rates are available for attendees. Each former participant will receive a specially designed reunion T-shirt. (9540001)
OAEC has some great things planned for the day—photo booths, a photo video presentation, great speakers and more! And bring your Youth Tour memorabilia to show everyone what a great time you had. Registration is free for the participant plus one guest. Additional guests are $10 each (to help pay for food) but you are welcome to bring the whole family. To register, go to OAEC’s web page at
www.oaec.coop and click on Community Outreach, or call Jennifer Dempsey, OAEC director of member services, at 405.607.0161 or e-mail her at jdempsey@
oaec.coop.
If you need further information or would like to share the contact information of a former participant, please contact Jonna Hensley at 256.7425 or e-mail
jonnah@nwecok.coop. Don’t forget to join the Oklahoma Youth Tour 50 Year Re- union Facebook group page to keep up-to-date on this exciting event!
